About Marie Violette

About me

I am currently in my penultimate year at Monash University, studying a Bachelor of Arts and Laws (Honours). I have a genuine interest in having a career in the legal sector. Since the beginning of my law degree, I have gained a great insight in policy development, law reforms, and the legal industry.

I have several work experiences in a variety of legal settings. My roles in the legal industry helped me refine my legal reasoning and analytical skills. It has also developed my research, communicative, interpersonal, and writing skills. I regularly liaise with clients concerning their legal matter via professional phone etiquette or email. Although it is a fast-paced environment, I am always able to complete my tasks in a timely manner.

Additionally, during my years at university, I have undertaken numerous extra-curricular activities to help others. I, indeed, took part of Access Monash to help low socio-economic students gain access to tertiary studies. One of my most rewarding experiences was when I became a Monash Law Ambassador in both 2018 and 2020. This enabled me to work on projects which aimed to aid law students have better access to resources within the university.
